Returns, Refunds, Lost Item and Warranty Policy
Original Artworks, Paper and Canvas Prints
Please choose carefully when deciding to order a print. Unfortunately due to our prints being printed on demand, we are unable to offer returns or refunds on prints due to change of mind, however we do offer store credit. If your print has arrived damaged or with a defect we will arrange a replacement print for you.
All artworks are packed and shipped with the utmost love and care, we ship through trusted couriers and take no responsibility if your items have arrived damaged or lost whilst in transit. If your item is deemed 'delivered' we are of the belief you have received your item. If you have not, please directly contact the courier as they are best placed to track where your item has been delivered.​ Please email contact@lakkaripitt.com if you have any problems with items you have received.

Gift card purchases are final. No refunds or returns will be issued.

Jewellery
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable damage.

If the item is confirmed as faulty, we will offer a replacement or refund. If a return is required due to a fault, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Major vs Minor Faults
A major failure may include:

A broken clasp on arrival

A stone missing upon delivery

Structural defects that prevent wear
A minor failure may include:

Small repairable defects

Loose fittings that can be adjusted

Where possible, minor faults may be repaired or replaced before a refund is issued.

Change of Mind Returns
We do not offer refunds for change of mind. Please choose carefully and read all product descriptions before purchasing. If you have questions prior to purchase, we encourage you to contact us.

Earrings (Hygiene Policy)
For hygiene reasons, earrings cannot be returned for change of mind. This does not affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law if the item is faulty.

Sale Items
Items purchased on sale or during promotional events are final sale and cannot be returned for change of mind unless deemed faulty under Australian Consumer Law.

Return Process
If a return is approved:

You will be provided with return instructions.

Items must be returned in original packaging where possible.

Items must not show signs of wear (unless being returned due to a fault).
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is confirmed faulty.

Warranty Policy
Jewellery by Lakkari Art includes a 6 month warranty from the date of purchase covering manufacturing faults. This includes:

Faulty clasps

Broken chains due to structural weakness

Loose stones caused by manufacturing defect

Faulty earring posts
If a manufacturing fault is confirmed within this period, we will offer:

Repair (where possible), or

Replacement, or
-
Store credit or refund (if repair/replacement is not possible)
Assessment may require photographs or return of the item.
​This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Tarnishing or oxidation

Fading of gold plating over time

Scratches or surface marks
-
Damage caused by water, perfume, sweat, chemicals or improper storage

Damage caused by pulling, bending, dropping or impact
-
Lost items or stolen items
-
General stretching of chains over time

Jewellery is delicate by nature and requires appropriate care.​

Plated Jewellery Warranty
Gold-plated and coated finishes naturally wear over time depending on:

Frequency of wear

Skin chemistry
-
Exposure to moisture or chemicals

Fading of plated finishes is considered normal wear and is not a manufacturing fault.

How to Make a Warranty Claim
If you believe your item has a manufacturing fault:

If return is required for assessment, we will provide instructions. If the fault is confirmed as a manufacturing issue, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered.

Care Responsibility
To maintain the longevity of your jewellery:

Avoid water, swimming, and showering

Remove before exercise

Avoid direct contact with perfumes and lotions

Store in a dry place away from sunlight
Improper care may void this warranty.

Jewellery Care & Fair Wear
Our jewellery is designed for occasional and careful wear. Normal wear and tear, including:

Tarnishing

Fading of plated finishes

Surface scratches

Damage caused by exposure to water, perfume, sweat, or improper storage is not considered a manufacturing fault.
We encourage following our care instructions to prolong the life of your jewellery.​​

Intellectual Property
All designs remain the intellectual property of Lakkari Pitt. Purchase of jewellery does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights. Designs must not be copied, reproduced, or commercially replicated.​
